SUPER SALES ON SUPER HEROES has the slightly difficult hurdle to overcome of an appalling premise: the protagonist is a slaver. Slavery is one of those things which I give an automatic "okay to kill you for" in my fiction. The fact the majority of our anti-hero's slaves are attractive women also opens a lot of unfortunate implications. Nevertheless, I was willing to give the book a shot because I'd heard a lot of good things about it.

Great! Different kind of super hero fiction novel. Felix has a unique power that allows him to modify values for anything he owns. His power increases based on the value of what he owns. The city in which Felix lives has been taken over by a super villain. Slavery is now legal, so he can own super heroes… Felix is a very likable character, often too nice. He’s not a villain or a hero, more of a super neutral, out to make his life and that of his wards better. New author for me, and I’ll continue

Oh this was actually surprisingly good! I was afraid that it would be something more like “Hitchikers guide to the galaxy”. Sure That book is not bad but I usually get tierd very quickly when a book never can stay serious for at least a second or two.

This is good, solid, junk food fiction. It's not going to win any literary awards and you shouldn't think too much past the surface of the plot, but if you can temper your expectations for this book, it is a fun, easy read.
