This book showed up when I was looking for LitRPG books on amazon. It isn't LitRPG, but it is Gamelit to be sure, so I guess it qualifies as at least something close to what I was looking for.
Regardless of that, the story was a good one, and I'd definitely read more in the series. even if our hero is more like a supernatural bodyguard more than anything else.
