Good 'high fantasy' story. Especially good that Daniel gets abilities he chooses and after that he is on his own (no MORE Hecate's help... (view spoiler)), and it was his idea after all to remember that E=mc^2 (view spoiler). While I think the overall book could have used a good proof reading and been refined a bit more. I enjoyed the story line very much as it immediately caught my attention.

Look forward to the second.

Shelves: fantasy, transported

This book is a typical fantasy book about a modern day human ending up in a fantasy world. Sadly this book has a couple of holes as well as a disturbingly prevalent amount of situations that smacks of wish fulfillment.
