More of the same, the story still hasn't progressed very far, the MC is still this weird Mary Sue nerd who can't stop devolving into pop culture references. I'm going to take a break from the series for a while and move on to something new...might come back later but I was expecting a lot more considering how highly this book is rated.

3.5/5 — As the other books in this series have been so far, it’s not terribly well written but much fun. The author is imaginative and tells a good story. For some reason I didn’t enjoy this one quite as much as the earlier one, maybe the immaturity of the main character bothered me more this time. He is largely a dumb-ass and acts like a 17 year old boy making it unrealistic to me that so many would pledge loyalty...but most of them came from much worse situations so...maybe.
