Perfect fandom novel

This was an unexpected and welcome surprise. I loved within this book for the two days I savored it. Such great quotes re: creating and writing the work

I googled the author to see if she actually had any mental illness, because I felt like this book was trying to describe it without really getting it. I know no two people are alike and all, but this version of anxiety really bothered me. Eliza was awful, in a completely unendearing way. And this was one of those books where characters change, suddenly and unrealistically. Wallace was uncharacteristically terrible for a few chapters, and then back to amazing. If you want to read a book that perfectly describes what it means to be a panic attack and anxiety sufferer, look no further. Eliza and Her Monsters is a fantastic exploration of what it means to be a silent success, only to have that success come crashing down in the worst way possible. Eliza is flawed, but she is a heroine I think a lot of readers will easily identify with, and I hope readers will love her story as much as I did.
