Great book. Definitely messed with my mind throughout its entirety. Great characters. Dark and twisty. My only complaint would be that I wished the plot hadn't been so dragged out. It felt a little repetitive at times and I think it could have been 75 to 100 pages shorted to get ride of that issue. Otherwise, great book and I highly recommend. ...more

I had high expectations for this book, so I expected to be blown away. It fell short for me. The “oh my gosh” factors weren’t as shocking as I was hoping it would be. I wasn’t surprised by anything. Don’t get me wrong, it was gruesome and gory, just not what I wanted.

Original title: Pretty Girls
This is one of the most gruesome books I have ever read. But Karin Slaughter is as always good with describing her characters. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. More action paced then the Good Daughter.
