I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I liked learning more about the Bran and Charles. Although Anna isn't the kick-ass heroine that Mercy is, she is still strong in her own way. I especially liked the character of Asil. I hope he has a continuing role in the Alpha/Omega series.

This picks up right where the novella (On the Prowl) left off. So, if you haven't read it, right that first! I enjoyed seeing more of the Marrok. He is more of a mystery in the Mercy books, more is learned of his back story in this book.
