Daniel James Brown tells this story through the biography of Joe Rantz, one of the rowers. Amazingly inspirational, compelling and fascinating. Who knew a book about nine young men rowing toward Olympic gold in the 1936 Berlin Olympics could be so hard to put down? What incredible young men.
