What Members Thought
This was hands down the best book I read in 2017. I loved so much of it: the clever writing, the fascinating angle of a double agent narrator who is putting on a facade for others and who is perhaps hiding from the reader too, the choice of making him a biracial Vietnamese/French man who moves through opposing worlds and can see both sides which provides an interesting window in to the Vietnam War. This book makes you think.
A rough but necessary book.
