What Members Thought
This is the first text I’ve read by Audre Lorde and I learned a lot from her essays. She was ahead of her time, yet so many of us persist in ignorance. I kept feeling annoyed with myself for not seeking out her voice and others like hers long ago. Her insights about white supremacy and male supremacy pitting women again each other and blacks against each other, etc. are so spot-on. My learning journey continues, and I recommend these essays to every reader.
