Macho Wyoming mystery where the men take bullets and the women take men for a ride. Sheriff Longmire quotes Shakespeare and keeps order. Moves fast with hard to put down action. Interesting characters galore. Usually a couple of good guys bite the dust but the sheriff always gets his man (or woman). Happy Trails.

Sheriff Walt Longmire is pressured by his friend/former sheriff, Lucian Connally, to inverstigate the death of Mari Baroja in an assisted living home.
There's a fairly intricate plot and some intriguing characters. I also enjoyed the details about Basque and Cheyenne culture that are woven in.
