This is probably my favorite of the Pollifax series, and it was fun to reread it. I read it ages ago, and all I remembered was that I liked it, and a throw away line Mrs. Pollifax has about the direction of U.S. foreign policy.

Mrs. Pollifax is sort of across from Miss Marple and Jessica Fletcher. But I liked Mrs. Pollifax more. She had real feelings, fears and thought processes. Mrs, P goes to Morocco, and the descriptions of Morocco's land, culture and people is well done.(I think.I tend to read my "series books" in order to ease confusion, but felt right at home reading #9 as my first Mrs. P. I am participating in the UN Country Challenge I will be reading more of these as her character goes all over the world.
