Don't be fooled by the title. The "Prince" is Prince John, of Magna Carta fame.
As a history nerd, I really liked this book. Penman is known for her historical accuracy and this book, though complete fiction, still relies on the real world and she uses the political games of the day to create a great mystery.
I'm looking forward to reading more of her novels. ...more
