I cannot praise this novel and series enough. I flew through it though it is not exactly a lithe book. The characters and battles and tragedy which absolutist god given monarchy Inflicted upon everyone but a select few is brought to life and transparency through the authors narrative.

Not as strong as Here be Dragons, though it contains my favorite, all-time most romantic line of all time - I was impressed with myself that I was able to read it in a waiting room without openly sobbing ;) Advances the story well, fascinating, and well-written. Sniffle.
