A re-read

Its been 10 years since I last picked this book up. A couple of years ago Sharon died, and as a long time fan I mourned her. Still do. We shared a birthday, which I always thought special.
Penman writes historical fiction how I wish every author did. With impeccable research, well developed and beloved characters, and compelling stories. You learn something from every book she writes.
