maybe I'll write a whole review of it later but for now I very much enjoyed the story and the third person omniscient POV accelerated the characterization so the primary focus could remain on social interactions. ...more

This has to be one of the worst books i have ever read!!!! I mean seriously, this is the first book i have ever given one star rating.
It promises to be this cute love story between a simple girl and a rich boy with a lot of relative drama thrown in. But let me tell you, that love story only covers about 10℅ of the book. I want to start by saying that I really enjoyed the film, which is why I decided to read the book afterwards, however, I have to say, I actually thought the film was better, which is unusual for me.

Much like the title, this book is crazy. Crazier than the movie, somehow. It's fascinating to delve into Asian culture and everything that comes with it. The whole story is a whirlwind, which portrays its characters and their lifestyle perfectly. It's an addicting and beautifully crafted drama about culture and family, and I could not put it down.
