The two best friends, Marly, a girl with a difficult history, and Rae, one who has suffered from an abusive home, form a strong bond. They swear to always be there for each other, but a horrible tragedy separates them forever.
Their complicated relationship and emotional ups and downs are intriguing and very real to life. The mystery of what happens to Rae will keep you reading well into the night. Great characters and very satisfying suspense.

After her best friend’s apparent suicide, Marly is left in shock. The police suspect foul play and Marly searches for answers. The story shifts back and forth in time and slowly reveals what happened to lead up to Rae’s death.

Wonderfully intense!
This book is full of complex characters who care deeply and are so very real. I found myself wanting to race ahead to see how things would resolve and wanting to slow down and enjoy at the same time. A story that will stay with me for a very long time. A great read!
