This is supposed to be a review of the audiobook narrated by Colin Morgan, but Goodreads won't let me change the edition.
Anyway, The Colour of Magic isn't my favourite Discworld book. Pratchett hadn't quite found his voice yet - by even the Light Fantastic, the unmistakable flow and style of Pratchett's Discworld is far more solidified - but Colin Morgan breathes new life into the book. It's a lot of fun, and the audio version bumps my rating up by a full star. ...more

I knew it was meant to be comedic before I started it. I was prepared to make some allowances, but after getting about 1/3 of the way through, I just don't see the sense of tormenting myself any further. It's seriously not my thing.
I will gladly grant Mr. Pratchett full marks for keeping track of the nonsense and for doing a good job ...more
