It took me a long time to finish this book, much longer than it usually takes to tear through a book I enjoy. It kinda felt like one of those books we were "forced" to read in school before having to dissect it for all of the hidden meanings, if you know what I mean. However, in all fairness, this probably wasn't the best time for me to read a book like this. I should've stuck with something a bit lighter. Sheer escapism.
