What Members Thought
This was riveting. A horrific death is told from the victim's perspective in a unique way. The last third of the book takes a strange and surreal twist that I'm not convinced worked so well. But overall, an interesting story. The movie was a terrible adaptation that did the book no justice whatsoever.

this book horrified me. It disgusted me. I couldn't finish it. I had (almost) nightmares from the descriptions of the murder. I cannot understand what took in so many readers.
