Orwell did not create a fable as many have suggested. His "fairy story" is an outcry against the dangerous outcomes of the stupidity of a herd mentality. And that, Dear Reader, is a pun intended. An excellent tale, filled with all the obvious pitfalls and dangers that all fairy tales are filled with. Another classic that I read a while ago. But who could not love it. This is my type of story: strange, unique with a new way of viewing the world, and one that says so much more than their words at face value.
