This book should be in every writers' collection. Besides giving helpful tips, King chronicles his life--how he went from a struggling writer to best seller. Even if you don't like to read horror (I don't) you will enjoy this book.

I really enjoyed this book. It was recommended to me by one of my critique partners and it gave some really useful insight to writing. From the point of view of when you are first learning, all the way up to being published. I also liked how Mr. King wove in his writing journey along with his life journey. I liked learning about his past and hearing stories from when he grew up.
