4.5 stars. A fantastic historical account of one family in the war for Bangladesh’s independence. So much sacrifice for love and war.

I have read both An Unrestored Woman and Midnights Children recently dealing with a similar time and place. What I liked about A Golden Age was that it considered the Bangladeshi side of this time period, which I had not witnessed before. I felt the underlying story was in ...more
