I've officially entered a book hangover, as I didn't want this story to end. I've read other work by the author in the past, but A Heat of Time doesn't compare to anything else by her. The emotions went up and they went down, they went up and back down. It takes a lot to make my emotions flutter, and this hit them all.

Shari Ryan is freaking brilliant. If that memo hasn't reached you yet, it needs to! A Heart of Time is no exception. It broke my heart into a million pieces and then weaved it back together again in the most wonderful way. I immediately put it right back in my to-be-read pile so I can re-live it once more! Shari Ryan sure knows how to tug at those heart strings! This one had us in tears, laughing, and hoping in all the right ways! Get ready feel like you are in the book and be 100% emotionally tied to the characters. We are thrilled that there are more books involved in this series because we sure were not ready to let go at the end!
