This is the second series I’ve started by Sanderson and my respect for him grows even more.
Mistborn is lighter than Stormlight Archive it terms of mood but it doesn’t lack any less creativity. Sanderson has mastered the art of creating Magic system and I had no clue that Allomancy (People ingesting metals for powers) could turn into something so innovative and full of amazement. You can literally make connections in your head and solve problems in the story using this magic system.

A heist plot/planning, a kick-ass heroine, a master planner, a bunch of strategic thieves with their own elements. What can go wrong? The final result, we are going get is a gem of a book we never get to forget.

Excellent.
Best book I had ever read. Brandon Sanderson being my favorite author, he had done a fantastic job in this book. Perfect pacing, perfect description, and perfect balance amidst info dump and showing the story. Kelsier was my favorite characters and initially, I hated Vin, but in the end, my god, such an amazing ending. Her character arc was one of the best and I just like the crew, how they irritate each other, and how they care for each other. Each character had a unique backstory and ...more
