As expected of V.E. Schwab, a really strong book with great world building. I am beyond words for the way this book unraveled itself, from the world to the characters. I'm looking forward to finding out more about the characters.

The world (or I guess I should say worlds) of this novel was by far my favorite part. The magic wasn't as unique as some other books, and the plot itself unfolded in a more typical way than I was expecting (granted I still enjoyed every second of it and had my fair share of shocking moments) but the world was incredibly unique, and I found it amazing to experience.
