This is the first book in A Flower Shop Mystery series by Kate Collins. I discovered this series through the Cozy Mystery Group here on Goodreads. Ms. Collins was the Featured Cozy Author for January 2012 and I thought I would read this book to see if I'd be interested in reading more of the books in this series. (Not that I need another series right now...)

This is an enjoyable start to the series. Abby is the owner of a fledgling flower shop and a Corvette she loves - which is attacked in a hit and run. Along the way they deal with the very serious topic of domestic violence and a dead body of course.
Eventually the solution became a bit evident and we could probably cut at least a chapter out. But I look forward to second book.

I enjoyed this book and hope to read other adventures of Abby in the future. I loved the way she just can't help but meddle.
