What Members Thought

This book's fatal flaw was that it was so gosh darn boring. There were simply too many characters to keep track of and about 200 pages in I just stopped trying. And I say this about EVERY Larsson book but that man needed a goddamn editor. I do not need to know every time someone goes to sleep or has a meal or exercises. These are NOT relevant details. Plus, it felt like every other page was a character describing something that the reader (but not the other character) already knew. Lots of needl

I tore through this book--Lizbeth is a compelling character.

Was not too dissapointed. I am glad I stuck to the series. The first book was hard to get into. But after 77 pages it took off and I enjoyed all three books. A bit violent at times, but nothing that hasn't been seen on the news or big screen.

Great series of books. Although, i suppose i'm not used to swedish writing styles with an excessive amount of details that weren't always relevant to the main story. But, all in all, i definitely recommend it.
