It's probably a bit silly, but when I found out that I was getting an opportunity to go to Sweden this year, I planned to bring the Millennium series with me. I started the first book on the flight to Stockholm and finished the third book the day after I returned home. In between, I was in a constant state of suspense, itching to be able to read more and find out what happened.

While the first book seemed to be a complete story, the second book ended with such a cliff hanger that I just couldn't

A great final installment in the Dragon Tattoo series. I really wish Larsson wasn't dead, so we could have more of them. The first 100 pages were a little hard for me to get through, but the rest of the book was virtually impossible to put down.
I really enjoy the way the story is told, from lots of points of view, but I will admit to having a hard time keeping track of some of the characters, based on either similar names, or lack of face time as story teller.

The book opends up with Lisbeth Salander in the intensive care of the hospital needing brain surgery. Will she survive? Will she be a vegetable? These and other questions are answered in this story. It is a keep you on the edge of your seat kind of book right until the end.

The least polished of the three, but a good conclusion.

The Girl did kick the hornet's nest...but not without getting hers kicked first...Geez Louise! Could anyone have it any worse than Lisbeth Salander? I guess that's why we love her.

P.S. If you're kinda struggling to get through this one...hang tight, it gets much better about the last quarter of it!

Only slightly less confusing than a russian novel. I had to re-read whole chapters (more than twice). Once I understood what was going on, I loved the story - because as most people know, I am all about the revenge.
