I enjoyed this much more than the first book. Although I still feel like these are a bit vulgar, it was intense! I think Swedish liberalism is still a bit much for me to swallow - but a page-turning tale to the very end! I also enjoyed the renewed focus on Salander, she's a much more entertaining character than Blomsky.

How good is this book? Poverty-stricken ME who NEVER pays full price for a book just paid $24 to order an imported paperback copy of The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest so I can read it a month before the $15.94 hardback or $10.35 Kindle becomes available on Amazon. I couldn't wait to start this book after I read "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo." It started out strong and then seemed to stay stuck in the same spot for about 100 pages. The ending was good but I don't know if I'll read the final book in the trilogy.
