It's been years since I've read a book by Michael Crichton. In the mid-90s, I read a slew of his stories and was fascinated by his scientific mind and ability to tell an exciting story. I either burned out or just got into other authors and stories, but I recently discovered this new book at my local library, published after his death, and I just had to check it out.

A great book about ecology, science and tech--and the perils of mixing them from the science-writing master, Michael Crichton. This was a great book, I was very interested in finally getting through it. Totally worth the read, would recommend reading it in Hawaii.
