That was just as good as everyone had had me believe all these years.
On a mostly unrelated note, it had me thinking that when you finish this book you could quite easily start on Kim Stanley Robinson's The Wild Shore Three Californias as a sort of sequel and it would fit right in. ...more

I had to read this book in 9th grade and there are very few required reading books that I don't like, but I specifically remember hating this one. Maybe I would understand/enjoy it more reading it at an older age, but I have no intention to find out when there are so many other books I want to read. Maybe one day I will reconsider because I'm sure it had something to do with my maturity, but at this point in time, my rating is very low.
