This is an engaging story that combines some of my favorite things: art, mystery, and puzzles. We listened to Ellen Reilly narrate the story on audio CD, but unfortunately we weren't able to listen to it continuously and I really felt like I missed a good part of the plot. I think I will need to read the book as well.

Jan 2016 update: Reviewed the hardcover edition listed below to refresh my memory about the plot and characters before our local library children's book club meeting.

An unusual amount of coincidences happens in this story. Two children with the same birthdays are in the same class, live near each other, and are interested in the same things. They make a bond and find themselves searching for a stolen art masterpiece.

I liked this book SO MUCH the first time I read it, but after rereading it a year later, I realized that it was just ok.
