Fabulous book - I read this book several times growing up and just loved it. It was one of my absolute favorites. I loved the New England setting and I imagined what it was like to live during the Civil War.

I really liked this book. I had always wanted to read it but just never had. It started out a little slow but once I got familiar with all the characters, Jo especially, there was not turning back.
I had always disliked the movie version of Little Women because the relationship between Jo and Laurie seemed strained at the end but the book clears it up much better and gives it the happy ending.

Still just as enjoyable as when I first read it at age 9 - only I do not hate Amy anymore & wow, Jo truly didn’t love Laurie - how did I miss that? 🤷🏼♀️ dense 9 year old I suppose
