I read this because we had a lot of customers ordering it, I just had to see what all the hype was about and I have to say that I am so glad I did.
It's a quick read that is made all the quicker by sucking you in. I loved the homage to L'Engle and "Wrinkle in Time", plus the fact that it is such a realistic story that has a VERY sci-fi element.

This YA novel which uses the tropes of and her characters discuss the meaning of Madeline D’Engle’s classic A Wrinkle in Time. It’s been approximately 150 years since I read A Wrinkle in Time. I probably should have reread it before reading this. But this time I didn’t love this book.
I found this to be fast, easy reading with an interesting premise. Time travel is a concept I always find to be interesting, so I really enjoyed that aspect of the story.
A little time travel and a bit coming of age tale written beautifully.
I loved it! Great character development. I really liked so many of the characters. They all felt real and interesting. The story had fun mystery/time travel elements.

I loved, loved, loved this book! It wasn't what I was expecting at all, and the twist in the book really threw me. I can't say more without spoiling the book, but I loved how A Wrinkle in Time was incorporated into the book, and now I really want to read A Wrinkle in Time.
