This is the second book in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, and it was okay. I think this series is going to be heavy on adventure, and less on the story itself. Plus I'm feeling a serious Harry Potter vibe from the story, there are obvious differences, but it feels like it's for the same crowd. I will probably continue to read the series, and maybe like Harry Potter I will enjoy the later books far more than the earlier ones.

Really enjoying this series - flew through this book when I has a few minutes at a time. What great books and cool learning about mythology! Ended up having to buy the books so I don't have to wait in line for them.
