At the time I read it this was pretty cutting edge stuff.
I felt like I was rereading 1984 when I read this. Just like all the stories we hear about humanity... they follow a cycle of slavery to freedom to slavery.
Another book warning against a future of communism. Rather well done though. The farm animals revolt against the farmers and take control. At first, everything goes fine as they create for themselves a utopian society. But soon, something goes terribly wrong...
