Power corrupts. That's about all I can say about this classic. I remembered reading it before (probably high school?), but I know I did not appreciate it fully back then.
Twenty years later, I think I have a slightly different perspective on it and enjoyed it thoroughly. It was a quick read, although it took me awhile as I kept it in a pocket of my flight suit and only read it when I would have a chance.

At the time I read it this was pretty cutting edge stuff.

sometimes I wonder if this is not what should happen. but it always ends in corruption.
I have heard much about this book, but for some reason or another have never read it. I read it today. What an entertaining book! I mean, I knew how it would end shortly after the beginning, but I still enjoyed reading all the steps that led to that end. A real negative explanation communism.
Another book warning against a future of communism. Rather well done though. The farm animals revolt against the farmers and take control. At first, everything goes fine as they create for themselves a utopian society. But soon, something goes terribly wrong...
