This tale of horror that besets a troop of Boy Scouts and their leader on a campout was a good weekend read - you don't need to overthink anything, just read and enjoy. The author is clearly and heavily influenced by Stephen King, which is great; but unlike King, I was able to anticipate the fate of each character. The characters were one-dimensional overall, but it was still fun to read and see the story unfold. I especially enjoyed the news and interview "breaks" throughout the story.
