The Word Exchange, by Alena Graedon
First, I want to say that I think this is a very clever book. Set in the not to distant future, Graedon has created a world where everyone is hooked up to their mobile Meme devices. Not much of a stretch from today's norm. Those who can afford it have chips implanted in their brains. The technology warnings thought this novel would make Bradbury proud.
