[close] This debut novel is quite the page turner. Mia is the daughter of a wealthy Chicago judge, who is kidnapped leaving a bar one evening, after being stood up by her boyfriend. The Good Girl is told in short chapters from the various perspectives of four main characters, Colin (the kidnapper), Gabe (the detective), Eve (Mia’s mother), and finally at the very end of the novel Mia adds her voice. It's a fun, quick read recommended for fans of psychological thrillers and complete with a nice twist at the end.
