Bea continues to serve their congregation on earth and struggles with the dissolution of societal order as Earth’s apocalypse approaches. Peter meanwhile, finds great purpose and joy in serving the aliens. He is distracted and struggles with the limitations of written communication with Bea. This is a novel about love, communication, duty, faith, and the problems of separation. This is a fascinating and rewarding read.
