[close] Eligible is a modern retelling of the classic, Pride and Prejudice. I honestly did not expect to like this as I love my classics just as they are. However, I found myself getting more and more in to it as the story drew on. Regardless of how many times you may have read, listened to, or watched the TV adaptation, this fresh take will keep your interest. My only critique, as I listened to the audio book, was the speakers attempt at impersonating a male voice. It didn’t take long to overlook this, though.
