Definitely one of my favorite children's books and classics! I love Anne and every other character in this book. I love all of the scraps that Anne gets in. Though only time I had problems with her character is when she treats Gilbert unfairly but...I don't think it would have been better any other way.

I bought the first two movies and loved them to death. I dare say there are some things that are excited better on film, they are such beautiful movies.

It must have been at least 10 years since the last time I read Anne. I had forgotten how beautiful the writing is and exactly how delightful Anne is, herself. It made me cry several times. Even though I had read it before and knew what would happen, I felt each emotion as if it was fresh and new. I think I will have to reread the rest of the series soon.

I love everything by L.M. Montgomery, but some more than others. I adore Anne and hope that we are kindred spirits. Her books are some that I have read more than twice, even more than three times, which is high praise.
