Definitely an underrated Austen book, I love this one. Captain Wentworth definitely deserves more love! I heard that there is going to be a new adaptation of this and I am very excited to watch it; I have yet to see a Persuasion adaptation.
I think I enjoyed this one partly because I didn't quite know what to expect (although, I have come to expect a sort of misunderstandings-cleared-up-happy-ending from Austen) since I haven't heard as much about it as P&P or S&S. I really liked Anne, although her sister was annoying (and voiced as such), and a bunch of the other people really pompous. I know that's the wit of Austen, but they make me want to pull my hair out.
