La science s'inspire de la littérature. Ces deux mondes se touchent au passage de la science fiction. Historiquement,ce genre littéraire est très jeune. Certains attribuent à jules Verne sa création. Ce célèbre écrivain français fait connaître la science au grand public. Les romans de jules Verne touchent toutes les sciences notamment la physique,la géographie,la biologie... et il fait entre dans le champ littéraire les Termes techniques et données scientifiques.

It took a little time to adjust to the language and pace of this novel, but it is so worth it. I confess, too, that this beautifully illustrated version helped. I enjoyed the references to other literature and to science, and I loved the philosophy nuggets strewn throughout. Yes, this is a product of time and place. It still inspires the imagination. I am reminded that, in my opinion, reading this or any other classic, at the appropriate level of maturity, with help, is far, far more edifying th ...more
