A fun read in Charlaine Harris's usual intriguing style. As a fan of the Sookie Stackhouse, I did find some similarities in the small town vibe, the southern flair and the diverse characters. But that is where the similarities end. This is not in any way a copycat story to the best selling series turned HBO series, but rather a story that is very unique and captivating. Intrigued... Definitely going to be delving into this series! After all the show's coming out soon and it wouldn't do not to have read the books before I start watching now would it :)
