I read this about 20 years ago, when I was still a big Anne Rice fan. I liked it a lot.

This book was alright. It was entertaining without being too vulgar. Not like other Rice novels. It got a little mish-mashed after a certain point that I can't mention as it would be a spoiler. I'm interested to see where The Passion of Cleopatra goes. I only read this because I have the ARC of Cleopatra.
