This is the kind of book that takes time to let sink in.
This is the kind of book that sticks with you.
This is the kind of book you read over and over again at various times in your life.
Lyrical and haunting as only a book about World War II can be I think. You have to go in knowing in your heart that it won't end well for everyone, but shoving that deep down because you hope so much that it will.

I actually don't know what to say. I'm giving this book 5 stars for very personal reasons. I don't think it has the best writing or the most gripping story but it did something to me. I finished it earlier today and am just now able to even rate it or talk about it.

I loved this book!! It was a interesting to read about the war time!! I loved marie-Laure she was my favorite character!! It was interesting to learn were they all went after the war!!
