Holy cow, this book. What a perfect novella.

I first heard of Lisa Tuttle in Monster, She Wrote and added her to my long tbr list. Then last year (okay, a few months ago, but it’s New Year’s Day, so Imma be dramatic) NYRB Classics published My Death and finally it was time.

Fascinating, briskly paced mystery/fantasia/horror novella. If the goal was to build interest in Tuttle, nicely done.
